Leyland Young Persons

Leyland Young Persons is an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting aimed at younger people in recovery, held every Sunday at 7pm at Halls For All (St Ambrose) on Moss Lane, Leyland. Alcoholism does not check birth certificates, and walking into a room where everyone seems your parents' age can be a real barrier — this hour-long open meeting exists to lower it. Anyone may attend regardless of age, and the young-persons focus simply shapes who tends to share and what gets talked about: early-life drinking, sobriety around a social scene built on alcohol, recovery before thirty. No dogs are allowed at the venue, with the exception of guide dogs.
