Every town and city we cover has its own page listing all of its meetings.
Know a meeting we are missing?
The directory is only as good as the people who keep it current. If a meeting is not listed, add it and we will check it against the fellowship’s own listing before it goes live.
Stepwise Recovery is an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Al‑Anon Family Groups, SMART Recovery, or any twelve‑step fellowship or mutual‑aid programme. Our guides and tools are designed to sit alongside fellowship programmes, meetings and sponsorship — never to replace them.
Meeting listings can change. Always confirm details through the fellowship’s own finder: alcoholics‑anonymous.org.uk ukna.org cocaineanonymous.org.uk al‑anonuk.org.uk
Twelve‑step isn’t the only route. SMART Recovery runs CBT‑based mutual‑aid meetings across the UK — find them through their own finder at smartrecovery.org.uk.
Online listings never include meeting links or passcodes — you join through the fellowship’s own page, which always carries the current details.
How the meeting finder works
Search a postcode or town and the finder shows meetings nearby, in person and online, sorted by distance, with the day, time, address and format of each. Every listing is taken from the fellowship’s own published meeting list and re-checked each week.

Common questions
More answers in our FAQ.
How do I find an AA meeting near me?
Type your postcode or town into the search at the top of this page and pick Alcoholics Anonymous under Fellowship. Meetings are sorted by distance, each with its day, time, address and format. No booking or referral is needed: check the time on AA’s own listing, then go along. You can also browse every AA meeting by town.
Does the finder include Gamblers Anonymous meetings?
Yes. Gamblers Anonymous meetings are listed across the UK and Ireland, in person and online. They are free to attend, and they are for anyone who wants to stop gambling. Confirm the details on GA’s own meeting list before you travel.
Can family members use the finder too?
Yes. Choose Al-Anon if someone else’s drinking affects you, or look for Co-Dependents Anonymous and Adult Children of Alcoholics meetings. These meetings are for you in your own right, so you go on your own rather than bringing the person who drinks.
How accurate are the listings?
Every listing is checked against the fellowship’s own published meeting list and re-checked each week. Times and venues can still change at short notice, so confirm on the fellowship’s own listing before you set off.
