Your digital guide is an EPUB file — the standard ebook format that works on almost every phone, tablet, e-reader and computer. After purchase, your download link arrives by email (check spam if it doesn’t appear within a few minutes). Here’s how to open it on your device.
On an iPhone or iPad
Tap the download link, then choose Open in Books. Your guide is saved in Apple Books automatically and will remember where you left off.
On an Android phone or tablet
Install Google Play Books (free) if you don’t already have it. Download the file, open Play Books, and it will appear in your library — or simply tap the downloaded file and choose Play Books when asked.
On a Kindle
Amazon’s Send to Kindle makes this easy: go to amazon.co.uk/sendtokindle, sign in, and upload the EPUB file. It will appear on your Kindle within a few minutes. You can also email the file to your Kindle address (found in your Amazon account under Devices & Content).
On a computer
On a Mac, double-click the file and it opens in Apple Books. On Windows, we recommend the free calibre app, or reading in Microsoft Edge, which opens EPUB files directly.
A note on privacy
Your guide is private and discreet — the file name doesn’t announce what it is, and nothing about your purchase appears on the book cover of your device’s library except the title you chose to buy. If you’d rather keep it out of a shared family library, most reading apps let you use collections or a PIN-protected profile.
Stuck? Email [email protected] and we’ll get you reading. If cost is ever a barrier to accessing our guides, we’ll find a way.
