Athlone St. Mary’s

Athlone St. Mary's is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting that runs every Monday at 1pm at St. Ciarans House at Knights Hall on St. Mary's Square, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. As a closed meeting, it is intended for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than family, friends or professionals attending to observe. Meeting daily at the same lunchtime slot, the group gives members in Athlone a reliable place to turn up midweek. There is no cost involved and no booking system, so anyone eligible can simply arrive shortly before 1pm. Wheelchair access at Knights Hall has not been confirmed, so it would be worth checking with the group in advance if you need step-free entry.
