Athlone St. Mary’s

Athlone St. Mary's meets every Friday at 1pm for a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at St. Ciarans House at Knights Hall on St. Mary's Square, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. As with the group's other weekday sessions, it is set aside for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than the general public. Meeting at the same lunchtime hour on consecutive days gives Athlone members a dependable routine to build recovery around. There is no cost and no booking required, so anyone eligible can simply arrive before 1pm. The group's last Saturday of the month follows a traditional format instead, with readings from the Big Book. Wheelchair access at Knights Hall has not been confirmed, so check ahead if step-free entry matters to you.
