Ipswich Share

Ipswich Share meets every Friday at 7.30pm for about an hour and a half at the Church Of St Thomas The Apostle on Bramford Ln. It's a closed AA meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than family, friends, or visiting professionals. As the name suggests, the format centres on open sharing, giving members the chance to talk through whatever is on their mind at the end of the working week. This meeting is held at the same venue as the Tuesday One Step At A Time group, so the church has a regular AA presence through the week. The building is wheelchair accessible. There is no cost to attend and no booking required, so anyone who fits the closed-meeting criteria can simply arrive for 7.30pm.
