Galway Saturday

In Galway, Al-Anon Family Groups meets every Saturday at 11.30am at the Galway Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Áras de Brún, in Newtownsmith, close to Salmon Weir Bridge, and runs for around an hour and a quarter. The fellowship supports anyone whose life has been affected by someone else's drinking, whether they are a partner, parent, adult child, sibling or friend, and the meeting centres on the experience of the person attending rather than the person who drinks. As an open meeting, newcomers and visitors are just as welcome as long-standing members, and there is no obligation to speak. To find the room, use the door of Áras de Brún nearest Salmon Weir Bridge rather than the main entrance.
