Galway City Tuesday

In Newtownsmith, Galway, an Al-Anon Family Groups meeting takes place every Tuesday at 8pm, at the Galway Diocesan Pastoral Outreach Centre at Áras de Brún. Al-Anon Family Groups supports anyone whose life has been touched by someone else's drinking, current or past, with the emphasis firmly on the member's own recovery from that experience rather than the drinker's behaviour. Being an open meeting, it welcomes anyone who wants to attend, whether a newcomer, a professional, or someone finding out what Al-Anon offers before committing to going regularly. Meetings last approximately an hour, free of charge, with nothing to sign up for in advance and no pressure to attend every week.
