Getting there
About this meeting
As well as its Monday session, The Abbey group also meets on Wednesdays at 8pm, again at the Diocesan Pastoral Centre in Newtownsmith, Galway city. It follows the same closed format as the Monday meeting, held for people who have a desire to stop drinking rather than open to the wider public. Having two weekly sessions at the same venue gives people in the city centre area a further midweek option. There is no cost involved and no need to book beforehand. Wheelchair access at the Diocesan Pastoral Centre has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs is encouraged to check with the group in advance.
