Birr's Tuesday AA meeting is a closed session held at 8.30pm in St Brendan's Hall on Emmet Street, Co. Offaly, beside St Brendan's Church of Ireland. Look for the red door and head upstairs, as the meeting room is on the upper floor of the hall. As a closed meeting, it is for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than the general public or visiting relatives. Emmet Street sits centrally in Birr, making the hall easy to reach from most parts of the town. There is no cost and no need to book in advance. Newcomers should find the red door beside the church and go upstairs before half past eight.
