Birr

A second Birr meeting runs on Fridays at 8.30pm, also in St Brendan's Hall on Emmet Street, Co. Offaly, through the red door and up the stairs beside St Brendan's Church of Ireland. Like the Tuesday session, it is closed to the general public and reserved for people with a desire to stop drinking. The Friday fixture gives Birr a meeting to close out the working week, alongside the Tuesday and Sunday sessions at the same hall. There is no charge and nothing to book beforehand. Anyone eligible should head for the red door on Emmet Street and climb the stairs shortly before 8.30pm.
