Birr

Birr's third weekly meeting takes place on Sundays at 8.30pm, again upstairs in St Brendan's Hall on Emmet Street, Co. Offaly, through the red door beside the church. This session follows a Steps format, working through the Twelve Steps rather than general sharing, giving the week's third meeting a different character from the Tuesday and Friday sessions. It remains closed, meaning attendance is for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than family, friends or professionals. There is no cost and no need to book. Newcomers should climb the stairs through the red door before half past eight on Sunday evening.
