12-step meetings in Bridgend

Bridgend has two weekly meetings on two days: an Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) group and an Overeaters Anonymous (OA) group, using North Cornelly Methodist Church and Arc Day Services. Both are free, with nothing to arrange in advance. For a fuller week of meetings, the nearby hubs of Porthcawl, Maesteg, Port Talbot and Pontypridd each carry additional listings.

Going to your first meeting?

Walking into a room for the first time is the hardest step. Our free tools, worksheets and reading can help you prepare, at no cost. If the cost of a written guide is ever a barrier, gifted copies are available through Pay It Forward.

Stepwise Recovery is an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Al‑Anon Family Groups, SMART Recovery, or any twelve‑step fellowship or mutual‑aid programme.

Meeting listings can change; always confirm details through the fellowship’s own finder before travelling.
