Tilehurst Newcomers

Tilehurst Newcomers meets on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm in St Catherine of Siena Church Hall on Wittenham Avenue, Tilehurst, on the western edge of Reading, and lasts about an hour. Despite the name, this is a members' meeting rather than one open to the general public, giving people new to Alcoholics Anonymous and a desire to stop drinking a gentler introduction among others who share that experience. The church hall is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge to attend and no need to book a place in advance, so anyone with a desire to stop drinking can simply arrive shortly before half past seven.
