Calcot Newcomers – Experience, Strength & Hope

Calcot Newcomers - Experience, Strength and Hope meets on Wednesday evenings at 8pm in Kennet Valley Free Church, Carters Rise, Calcot, on the western edge of Reading, and lasts around an hour. Aimed particularly at people new to Alcoholics Anonymous, the meeting follows the Experience, Strength and Hope format, with members sharing their own stories rather than reading from set literature. It is an open meeting, so anyone with an interest, including friends, family and professionals, is welcome alongside those with a desire to stop drinking. The church is wheelchair accessible. There is no fee to attend and no need to book; newcomers can simply arrive shortly before the meeting starts.
