Thursday Blackburn

Thursday Blackburn is a Narcotics Anonymous meeting held at Blackburn Fire Station on Byrom Street, at one end of the blue and white bridge and a five-minute walk from Blackburn bus and train stations. The meeting starts at 7pm and runs for an hour and a quarter with a rolling format that changes week by week. It is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome — people in recovery, people still using who are wondering about stopping, and those supporting them. A meeting inside a working fire station is a novelty, but the recovery inside the room is the standard NA article: addicts helping each other stay clean.
