Southampton Central

In the old town area of Southampton, the Stella Maris Pastoral Centre at St Josephs Church, St Michaels Square, off Bugle Street, hosts an Al-Anon Family Groups meeting every Wednesday at 8pm. Al-Anon is for people affected by someone else's drinking, partners, parents, adult children and friends, rather than for the person who drinks themselves. It is an open meeting, so anyone in that situation is welcome to come along on the day without contacting anyone beforehand, and there is no need to bring the person whose drinking has affected you. The meeting runs for an hour and a quarter and, like all Al-Anon meetings, is free to attend with no booking required. It takes place weekly, so there is always another one along next Wednesday if you cannot make a particular week.
