Venue Info: With the Tudor House on your right, the venue is a short distance away on the left side of Bugle Street.
This Narcotics Anonymous Newcomers' Meeting runs every Friday evening at Stella Maris Hall on Bugle Street in central Southampton, from 7.30pm for an hour and a half. As the name suggests, it's geared towards people newer to NA, so if you've never been to a meeting before, this is a sensible place to start. The format mixes a speaker sharing their own experience with open sharing around the room, giving you a chance to listen before saying anything yourself. To find it, look for the Tudor House and, with that on your right, the venue sits a short distance along on the left side of Bugle Street. The hall is wheelchair accessible. Anyone is welcome to come along.
Can I come if I'm not sure I'm ready?
Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including people who are unsure, family, friends and those simply wanting to find out more. NA is for anyone with a desire to stop using drugs, and a newcomers' meeting is designed with first-timers in mind. You're free to just listen.
Do I need to book or pay?
No. There's no booking and no charge to attend. NA has no dues or fees. A basket is passed round for voluntary contributions to cover room hire and refreshments, but you never have to give anything, especially on your first visit.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible and how do I find it?
