Tuesdays Meeting is in St Anns Church, Cranmore.
The Sligo Town Downtown AA Group meets on Saturdays at 1pm at Market Yard in Caltragh, Sligo town, Co. Sligo. This is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so it is intended for AA members and others with a desire to stop drinking rather than for the general public. The same group also runs a Tuesday meeting, though that sitting is held at St Ann's Church in Cranmore instead of Market Yard, so it is worth knowing the venues differ by day. There is no cost to attend and no booking is needed for either sitting. Wheelchair access at Market Yard has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs should check ahead of time.
Is this meeting open to anyone, or is it closed?
It is a closed meeting, so it is for AA members and anyone else with a desire to stop drinking, rather than the general public, family members or professionals wanting to observe.
Is there a cost to attend, or do I need to book?
No. Like all AA meetings, it is free to attend and there is no need to book a place. Just arrive a few minutes before the start time.
Does this group meet anywhere else during the week?
Yes, the same group also meets on Tuesdays, though that sitting is held at St Ann's Church in Cranmore rather than Market Yard.
