Prudhoe How We Recovered

How We Recovered meets on Sunday afternoons at 5pm in St Mary Magdalene Parish Hall on Front Street, in the centre of Prudhoe, Northumberland. The hour-long meeting takes its name from the part of the Big Book where AA's founders describe precisely what they did to get well, and the sharing follows that practical spirit. It is an open meeting, so anyone may come: people with a desire to stop drinking, family and friends, and professionals. The hall is wheelchair accessible. The group operates a chit system, so attendance slips can be signed for court, probation or treatment evidence. Sunday teatime is a quiet moment in the week, and many find it a settling way to face the days ahead. It is free, with no booking.
