Plymouth A New Beginning actually meets a little way out of the city, at Lee Mill Congregational Church on Plymouth Road in Ivybridge, on Monday evenings at 7.30pm. The meeting runs for a generous hour and a half, and on the last Monday of each month the format changes to a Step meeting, working through one of AA's Twelve Steps in detail. It is an open meeting, so anyone can attend, whether you have a desire to stop drinking yourself or are a family member, friend or professional wanting to understand more. The church is wheelchair accessible. Like all AA meetings it is free, with no booking needed; people simply arrive a few minutes before the start and find a seat.
