Peterborough Cos Nowego Polish Speaking

Cos Nowego is one of Peterborough's Polish-speaking Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, held in Polish every Saturday at 6pm at Longthorpe Village Hall, 295 Thorpe Road, in the Longthorpe area west of the city centre. At two hours it allows unhurried sharing, and because it is an open meeting, anyone is welcome, including family and friends, though everything is conducted in Polish. The hall is wheelchair accessible, and a chit system operates, so attendance slips can be signed for court, probation or treatment evidence. As with every AA meeting there is no cost and no booking; Polish speakers who want to stop drinking can simply arrive on a Saturday evening and take a seat.
