Peterborough Lunchtime Step & Tradition

Wednesday lunchtimes at the Quakers Meeting House, 21 Thorpe Road, are home to Peterborough Lunchtime Step & Tradition, which starts at noon and runs until 1.30pm. The group studies AA's Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, and because it is an open meeting, anyone can attend: people who want to stop drinking, family members, friends and professionals alike. The Meeting House is wheelchair accessible and sits within easy reach of the city centre and railway station. Like all AA meetings it is free, and there is no booking, referral or paperwork. For anyone whose evenings are spoken for, a midweek daytime meeting like this can quietly anchor the week.
