Venue Info: Main door to front of building to enter
Northern Souls is a Narcotics Anonymous meeting in Blackburn, held every Sunday at 7.15pm in the Main Hall of Holy Souls Presbytery on Whalley New Road. The meeting runs for an hour and three quarters and is open to everyone — and unusually for the area, children are welcome, which removes one of the biggest practical barriers for parents in early recovery. Enter through the main door at the front of the building; the hall is wheelchair accessible. If getting childcare on a Sunday evening has kept you from meetings, this is the one designed with you in mind.
Can I really bring my children?
Yes — this meeting explicitly welcomes children, which is rare. Parents in recovery attend with their kids rather than missing the meeting.
Where do I go when I arrive?
Use the main door at the front of Holy Souls Presbytery on Whalley New Road. The meeting is in the Main Hall, which is wheelchair accessible.
Who can attend?
Anyone. It is an open NA meeting, so people in recovery, people still using, family, friends and professionals are all welcome. It is free and there is no need to book.
