The Newport Group meets on Tuesday evenings at 21:00, at Holy Family National School, Glenhest Road, Newport, Co. Mayo (F28 ED89), following a Steps format. Newport sits a short distance from Westport, and the group's late start suits an evening meeting after work or family commitments. The Steps format gives this sitting a structured discussion centred on the Twelve Steps. It is a members-only meeting under the Third Tradition, intended for those with a desire to stop drinking rather than open to the public. Wheelchair access at the school is not specified in our records, so it is worth checking with the group directly.
