Westport Sharkey Hill

Westport Sharkey Hill meets on Wednesdays at 7.45pm at the Sharkey Hill Community Centre, Pairc na Coille, Westport, Co. Mayo (F28 CD82), separate from the town-centre Parish Centre meetings the area also holds. It is a closed AA meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than an open public session, though anyone unsure whether they belong is still welcome to attend and ask beforehand. There is no fee and no booking required, as with every AA meeting; people simply arrive before quarter to eight. Wheelchair access at the Community Centre has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs may wish to check locally in advance. An evening meeting in this part of Westport gives residents a closer option than travelling into the town centre.
