Westport

The Westport group meets on Monday mornings at 11am in the Parish Centre, reached through the side entrance of St. Mary's Church on James Street, Westport, Co. Mayo. It is a closed AA meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than an open public gathering, though anyone unsure whether they qualify is still encouraged to attend and ask before it begins. There is no fee and no booking process, as with every AA meeting; people simply arrive. Wheelchair access to the Parish Centre has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs may wish to check locally beforehand. This is the first of several weekly meetings the group runs from the same room, giving Westport a busy, well-established fellowship through the week.
