Newbury Midweek Recovery

Midweek Recovery meets on Wednesdays at 6.30pm at Portal Hall, Church Lane, Burghclere, just south of Newbury, and runs for an hour and a quarter. Its early-evening midweek slot breaks the week up nicely, which matters more than it sounds in early sobriety, when the gap between weekend meetings can feel long. This is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, meaning it is kept to people who have, or think they might have, a desire to stop drinking; anyone in that position is welcome without question. The hall is wheelchair accessible.
