Over an hour and a quarter the group works through the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, looking at one step in depth and hearing how members have put it into practice. Step meetings reward regular attendance, but you can join at any point in the cycle. The meeting is closed, meaning it is for people who have, or wonder if they have, a desire to stop drinking.
