Middle Herrington New Beginnings

New Beginnings rounds off the week in Sunderland's Herrington area, meeting on Fridays at 7.30pm at Middle Herrington Methodist Church on Crow Lane for an hour and a half. True to its name, the meeting is a natural landing place for people starting out in sobriety, though everyone is welcome: it is an open meeting, so family members, friends and professionals may attend alongside anyone with a desire to stop drinking. The church is wheelchair accessible, and the group operates a chit system, so attendance slips can be signed as evidence for court, probation or treatment services. Attendance is free, and there is nothing to book or arrange in advance.
