Chit system available.
Part of Sunderland's Lifeboat Multi-Group, this Tuesday night meeting studies the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, the book AA members call the 12 x 12. It runs from 7.30pm for an hour and a half at St Nicholas Church on Dunelm South, in the Ashbrooke area south of Sunderland city centre. The format works steadily through AA's steps and traditions, which makes it a useful complement to the group's Big Book meetings on Sundays and Wednesdays. It is an open meeting, so anyone may attend, including family and professionals. The church is wheelchair accessible, and a chit system is available for anyone needing signed evidence of attendance for court, probation or treatment. Free, with no booking required.
