Limerick City Sarsfield Group

The Sarsfield Group holds a beginners' meeting on Monday afternoons at 1pm in the Lough Gur Room on the third floor of the Maldron Hotel on Roxboro Road in Limerick City. It is a closed meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking, in keeping with AA's usual practice. Being aimed at beginners, the format tends to focus on the fundamentals of AA and early recovery, making it a useful starting point for anyone new to the fellowship. Meeting inside a hotel rather than a church or community hall is a little different from many rural Irish AA venues, offering a straightforward, easy-to-find setting in the city centre. There is no cost to attend and no need to book ahead.
