Leek Afternoon

Leek Afternoon is a Sunday AA meeting at St Edward's Church on Church Street in the centre of Leek, starting at 4pm and running for an hour and a half. It is a closed meeting, meaning it is kept for people who have a desire to stop drinking, whether they are long-standing AA members or walking in for the very first time; relatives and friends who want to learn about AA should choose an open meeting instead. A Sunday teatime slot can be a steadying way to end the weekend, and the longer format gives plenty of time for sharing. There is no charge, no booking and no obligation to speak. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed for this venue.
