Venue Info: Please Use the Door to the Left of the Main Entrance at the Back of the Car Park The Format for the Meeting Alternates between Just for Today Reading/NA Literature/12 Step and Main Chair
This Narcotics Anonymous meeting runs every Wednesday evening in Meeting Room 1 at Swanbank Methodist Church, on Swan Square in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. Doors are open to anyone, and it's a good fit for newcomers finding their feet. When you arrive, use the door to the left of the main entrance at the back of the car park. Parking is available on site, and the room is wheelchair accessible. The format changes week to week, rotating between a Just for Today reading, NA literature study, and a Twelve Step focus, alongside a main chair sharing their experience. Expect Basic Text readings, speaker and share elements too. It starts at 19:30 and runs for around an hour and a half.
Can I come to this meeting if I'm not sure I'm ready?
Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including family, friends and professionals. It's newcomer-friendly, and the only thing asked of members is a desire to stop using drugs. You can simply listen if you prefer.
Do I need to book or pay?
No booking is needed and there's no charge to attend. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small voluntary donation may be passed around, but you never have to give anything.
How do I get in, and is there parking?
Parking is available on site. Use the door to the left of the main entrance, at the back of the car park, to reach Meeting Room 1. The room is wheelchair accessible.
