Thursday brings another closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting from Dun Laoghaire Central, starting at 8.30pm in Park House, part of the Community Centre on Library Road. Being closed, the meeting is set aside for people who have a desire to stop drinking, which is the only requirement for taking part, and there is no vetting beyond that shared aim. As with every AA meeting, there is no charge and nothing to arrange beforehand: people simply arrive in good time for the 8.30pm start.
