Dover Beginners

Dover Beginners takes place on Friday evenings at 7pm at St Paul's RC Church, 103 Maison Dieu Road, and lasts an hour and a half. The meeting is geared to people at the very start of recovery, so the format assumes no prior knowledge of AA. It is open, meaning anyone can attend — including family or friends who want to support someone, or simply to understand what happens at a meeting. The church is listed as wheelchair accessible. There is no cost, no paperwork and no booking; arriving a few minutes early gives you a chance to say hello, though you can also just sit and listen.
