Into Action meets in Dover on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm at St Mary's Parish Centre on Cannon Street, lasting an hour and a half. The name comes from a chapter of the Big Book about putting the programme to work in daily life. It is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including families, friends and professionals, alongside people who have a desire to stop drinking. The parish centre is wheelchair accessible, and a chit system is available for anyone who needs attendance signed for court, probation or a treatment programme. There is no charge and no need to book. Together with Monday's Big Book study at The Beehive, it gives Dover two in-person meetings a week.
