Chit system available.
Every Friday morning at 10am, the Brighton Women's meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous gathers in The Crypt at St George's Church on St George's Road in Kemptown, Brighton. The meeting lasts an hour and a half. It is an open meeting, so as well as women who want to stop drinking, family members, friends and professionals are welcome to sit in and see how AA works. There is no charge and nothing to book; you can just walk in. A chit system operates here, which means a member of the group can sign a slip confirming your attendance if you need evidence for court, probation or a treatment programme.
Can I attend if I am not an alcoholic?
