Brighton Lgbtq+ ‘Experience, Strength & Hope’

Experience, Strength & Hope is Brighton's Saturday afternoon LGBTQ+ Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, held at 2pm in The Crypt at St Georges Church on St Georges Road in Kemptown, lasting an hour and a quarter. The name comes from the heart of AA sharing, members passing on what happened to them and how they recovered, and the LGBTQ+ focus offers a space where that sharing happens among people with common ground. It is a closed meeting, for those who have a desire to stop drinking; nothing more is required, and first-time attendees are welcome without any prior arrangement. The Crypt is wheelchair accessible. There is no cost involved, and no booking system exists; you simply arrive and join.
