Thursday sees a second Arklow meeting at the CBS School, Coolgreaney Road, again starting at 8pm. It remains a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, kept for those with a desire to stop drinking, free to attend with nothing to book in advance. Alongside the Tuesday evening session and a Sunday morning meeting, this gives the Arklow group a fairly regular midweek and weekend presence at the same school venue. The CBS School venue on Coolgreaney Road remains the same across all three of the group's weekly meetings, making it a straightforward landmark for anyone new to Arklow.
Can anyone attend this meeting
No. This is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, kept for people who share a desire to stop drinking, rather than being open to family, friends or professionals who simply want to observe.
Is there a cost or do I need to book a place
No. Like every AA meeting it is free to attend and there is no booking system, so you can simply arrive shortly before the start time.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible
Accessibility has not been confirmed for this venue, so it is worth contacting the group in advance if step-free access matters to you.
