The Arklow group's Sunday meeting runs later in the morning than its evening sessions, starting at 11.30am at the CBS School on Coolgreaney Road. As a closed AA meeting it is intended for people who share a desire to stop drinking, and it is free to attend with no booking system, in keeping with all Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Sunday late-morning slots like this one often suit people easing into the week ahead with a meeting before anything else. The same CBS School venue on Coolgreaney Road is used for all three of the group's weekly meetings, so it is worth remembering as a fixed point regardless of which day you attend.
Can anyone attend this meeting
No. This is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, kept for people who share a desire to stop drinking, rather than being open to family, friends or professionals who simply want to observe.
Is there a cost or do I need to book a place
No. Like every AA meeting it is free to attend and there is no booking system, so you can simply arrive shortly before the start time.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible
Accessibility has not been confirmed for this venue, so it is worth contacting the group in advance if step-free access matters to you.
