12-step meetings in Cheddar

Cheddar’s one weekly meeting is an Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) group at the Methodist Church: free to attend, with no booking or referral needed. Anyone with a desire to stop drinking is welcome to walk in. When one day a week is not enough, the nearby hubs of Wells, Glastonbury, Highbridge and Weston-super-Mare all hold meetings of their own.

Spot something wrong? Meeting times and venues change. Every meeting page has a one-tap “it’s running” confirm and a report button — that is what keeps this directory honest. Know a meeting we’re missing? Add it here.

Going to your first meeting?

Walking into a room for the first time is the hardest step. Our free tools, worksheets and reading can help you prepare, at no cost. If the cost of a written guide is ever a barrier, gifted copies are available through Pay It Forward.

Stepwise Recovery is an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Al‑Anon Family Groups, SMART Recovery, or any twelve‑step fellowship or mutual‑aid programme.

Meeting listings can change; always confirm details through the fellowship’s own finder before travelling.
