Women’s Hour

Women's Hour meets on Friday evenings at 7pm at Effra Space on Effra Parade in Lambeth, running for an hour and a quarter. It is a closed meeting for women, meaning attendance is limited to those with a desire to stop drinking rather than being open to partners, family or professionals attending as observers. There is no fee and no need to book a place in advance; women can simply arrive shortly before 7pm and take a seat. Wheelchair access at Effra Space has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs may want to check with the group beforehand. As with all AA meetings, sharing is voluntary and newcomers are welcome to simply listen.
