Witham Rivenhall

Out at Rivenhall End, on the north-east edge of Witham, this Thursday night Alcoholics Anonymous meeting gathers at Henry Dixon Hall on Henry Dixon Road from 8pm to 9.30pm. It is an open meeting, so the door is open to everyone: people who have a desire to stop drinking, family members, friends and professionals. The hall is wheelchair accessible. A later start suits people with long working days or family commitments earlier in the evening, and the ninety-minute format gives sharing room to breathe. Together with the town's Sunday and Friday meetings on Guithavon Street, it means Witham has support spread across the week. As always with AA, there is no cost and nothing to book.
