Uddingston Monday Afternoon

Every Monday at 1pm, Al-Anon Family Groups meets in Uddingston at St John the Baptist Church on Lower Millgate. It is a mutual aid fellowship for people whose lives have been shaped by another person's drinking - partners, parents, adult children, siblings and close friends - offering a space to talk, listen and be understood without judgement. It runs as an open meeting, so newcomers, professionals and anyone with an interest are all free to attend, with no requirement to speak or share if they would rather just listen. It lasts around an hour and a half. Nothing needs to be arranged beforehand, and new faces can just turn up on the day without any prior contact.
