Thursday York

A dedicated newcomer meeting of Narcotics Anonymous, this Thursday evening group meets at St George's Church on Peel Street in York, just a 15-minute walk from York Station. Running from 18:30 for an hour and a half, sessions focus on the NA Information pamphlets, making it a good starting point if you're new to the fellowship and want to understand how things work. A practical note on arriving: the doors are closed ten minutes after the start, so if you're running late, ring the bell and someone will let you in. For most of the month this is a members' meeting for those with a desire to stop using drugs, but on the first Thursday of every month it opens up to anyone who'd like to come along.
