The Deepings Share

The Deepings Share meets on Saturday evenings at 7pm at The Deeping Methodist Church on Church Street in Deeping St James, serving the Deepings villages south of the market towns between Peterborough and Stamford. Running for an hour and a half, it is a sharing meeting, with members speaking in turn about their experience of alcoholism and recovery; there is always time for newcomers to be welcomed properly. It is an open meeting, so anyone may attend, including family, friends and professionals as well as people with a desire to stop drinking. The church is wheelchair accessible. There is no cost, no register and no booking; a Saturday meeting is a solid anchor for the weekend.
