Venue Info: Side door to the left.
Held every Tuesday evening in the centre of Forfar, this Narcotics Anonymous group meets at East Old Parish Church on East High Street. Doors sit at 18:30 and the meeting runs for an hour. Look for the side door to the left when you arrive. The format combines a speaker sharing their experience with open sharing from the room, so there's a mix of listening and, if you wish, saying a few words yourself. As an open meeting, anyone is welcome, whether you're here for yourself, supporting someone, or simply want to understand what NA is about. The venue has step-free wheelchair access. Turn up a little early on your first visit and someone will point you in the right direction.
Who can come along to this meeting?
Everyone is welcome. This is an open Narcotics Anonymous meeting, which means anyone can attend, including family, friends and professionals, alongside anyone with a desire to stop using drugs. You don't need to have been before.
Do I need to book, and is there a cost?
No booking is needed and there's no charge to attend. Just turn up on Tuesday for 18:30. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a basket is passed round, but giving is entirely optional.
Is the venue accessible, and how do I get in?
East Old Parish Church has wheelchair access. Use the side door to the left of the building to get in. Arriving a few minutes early makes it easier to settle before the meeting starts.
