The Wednesday evening AA meeting in Forfar meets at East Old Parish Church, 38-40 East High Street, starting at 7.30pm and lasting an hour. It is a closed meeting, which means it is for people who have a desire to stop drinking, rather than a session open to friends, family or professional visitors. The shorter, hour-long format suits those wanting a focused meeting without it running late into the evening. Both wheelchair access and a hearing loop are available at this venue, which is helpful for anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing as well as those with mobility needs. As with all AA meetings, there is nothing to pay and no need to arrange your visit beforehand; you can simply walk in.
