Thatcham Experience, Strength & Hope

Thatcham Experience, Strength and Hope meets on Sunday mornings at 10.30am at West Berkshire Hospital on the London Road, Benham Hill, and lasts about an hour and a half. As the name suggests, members share their own experience of Alcoholics Anonymous and a desire to stop drinking, rather than working through set literature. This is a members' meeting, kept for people with that desire rather than open to the wider public. The hospital venue is wheelchair accessible, which is worth knowing for anyone with mobility needs. There is no charge to attend and no need to book beforehand; those who qualify can simply arrive shortly before half past ten.
